Awards

One of the most interesting amateur-radio activities is promoting cultural, historical, natural and other values and resources. This is often done by issuing awards. Amateur radio operators win awards by making contacts with specific amateur radio stations, most often with some concrete cause.
Radio amateurs from Užice established Užice Award to celebrate Užice City Day, October 9th. This is joint activity of three radio clubs existing in Užice: Radio club “Aco Vučković” YU1ABH, Radio club “Sevojno” YU1AAX Sevojno and Radio club “Užice” YU1ACE.

Užice Award

Užice Award is established to celebrate Užice City Day, October 9th. It targets radio amateurs from all over the World, who’s task is to collect sufficient number of points by making contacts (QSOs) with amateur radio stations from Užice within period from October 1st to October 16th each year.  This is joint activity of three radio clubs existing in Užice: Radio club “Aco Vučković” YU1ABH, Radio club “Sevojno” YU1AAX Sevojno and Radio club “Užice” YU1ACE.
